COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOL STUDENTS ATTITUDE TOWARDS VOCATIONAL SUBJECT
ABSTRACT
This research focused on comparative analysis of public and
private school students’ attitude towards vocational study in Ikole Local
Government of Ekiti State.
Two research Hypotheses were raised to identify the
difference in the attitude and to find out if difference factors affect the
attitude of students towards vocational subject in public and private secondary
schools.

Based on the result of the study, the researcher
recommended that Government should adopt a policy, giving priority attention to
evaluation of vocational programs in public and private schools. Also, the
Government should encourage the training of technical teachers and also employ
more technical teachers in Ikole Local Government of Ekiti State.
