ABSTRACT
This
project is aimed at identifying the step hold in improving the use of tools in
the teaching of agricultural science through the use of instructional materials
in secondary schools. The research instrument used was questionnaire, the
questionnaire were ad administered on 20 agricultural science teachers in the
10 randomly selected secondary schools in Ikere local government areas of Ekiti
State. The data obtained from administered questionnaire were then analyzed
using frequency distribution and effects of the use of instructional materials
on the teaching of concepts. Skills habits and identification of tools and
implements is great. Teachers of agricultural science are thereby encouraged to
make an efficient use of instructional materials (Tools) and improvise where
the need arises.
